Each ScopeCurriculum lesson booklet follows a tested, highly successful, user-friendly format—including simple, step-by-step instructions for use in guiding the student(s), and easy-to-understand background information so that one can understand the science involved without having to be an expert. The lessons are designed to improve a child’s ability to observe and think analytically while he/she is highly engaged in a hands-on activity that provides a rich understanding of science. Because the lessons routinely spark interest, they easily lend themselves to further study in a variety of areas. The lessons also lend themselves to flexibility to allow for the individual needs of students. With free registration, users of activity booklets also have access to our helpful online support (Hand-Held Microscope Users Guide, downloadable handouts for lessons, a library of scope images for each lesson, and more).
